| Deed � Rinker to Rinker
This Deed made the first day of August 1876 between Daniel Rinker of the first part and Sarah Rinker of the second part, all of Grant County, W.Va. Witnesseth that for the sum of $200.00 already paid, the said party of the first part doth grant and convey to Sarah Rinker of the second part for her use while she remains a widow, afterwards to go to her two children ??: Rebecca and Samantha Rees Rinker, a certain tract or parcel of land which is bounded as follows: Beginning at a pine on the South side of a ridge and running thence N 55o 121 poles to two chestnut oaks near the top of a steep hill, thence N. 53 W. 52 poles to a small hickory sapling by a fence, thence S. 41o 30� W. 7 poles and 7 links to a stake by Thomas George�s fence, thence S. 62o 30� W. 10 poles and 7 links to three hickories and a black � a corner of the original tract in George�s field, thence S. 25o E 144 poles more or less running through said field to a pine which is a corner of Jeremiah George�s land, thence leaving the original line on the right and running with said J. G�s line S.E. 100 poles to two chestnut oaks which is the Beginning corner of said J.G�s land then N. 19o E. 88� poles to a forked white oak near a run; thence N. 82o W. 16 poles and 12 links to a white oak, thence N. 30o W. 3 poles and 11 links to a small white oak in a hollow near a spring, thence N. 53 E. 17 poles to the beginning containing 61 acres more or less and the said party of the first part doth, as already said, grant unto the party of the second part, all his right, title and interest. Witness the following signature and seal. Daniel Rinker (made his X) - seal State of West Virginia County of Grant. I, Job W. Shell, president of the County Court of said County do certify that Daniel Rinker whose name is signed to the foregoing deed bearing date on the first day of August 1876, has this day acknowledged the same before me in my county aforesaid.
