Winter 2008-2009
Christmas & Mom's Birthday, December 2008
This Christmas, I made a small Army.  For actual Christmas Day Dinner, I made what you see in the photo on the right: Chocolate Amaretto Cheesecake, Snowman Cake for Mom's birthday (which Sarah helped me decorate - Thanks Sarah!), Pear tart, and cannolis (chocolate orange and cherry lemon).  This year, we had an Italian-themed dinner.
After dinner, we were relaxing in the living room, boxing with the Wii, listening to musical entertainment from our hostesses, (Lindsay & Sarah), and also being entertained by our third hostess, Snickerdoodle.
January Visit to Virginia
Dad, a.k.a. "Pop-pop," was in good spirits, as well as Mom, (a.k.a. Grandma)
Bella & I were trying to get a good action shot of her.
The biggest hit - laptops!  Hunter especially loved this gift from Aunt Kathy.  Ethan tries to be like his big brother.  Another "hit" was a seek-n-find book.  Sophia & Hunter are taking a crack at it.
The always-aloof Katarina was, well, aloof.
RIGHT: Sophia enjoyed the pom-poms and David's birthday cake!
Aunt Kathy "gave it her all" while entertaining Ethan.  What a great Aunt!!  Pop-pop tossed around the ol' football with Hunter and Bella while Sophia cheered them on.
What is this?  What did those kids do to Grandma? ;)
Mom & Dad's 40th Anniversary, February 2009
The goodies were, of course, made by Yours Truly.  I'm especially proud of the cake.  It tasted great, too!!  There was never a more-deserving couple ;)
My Birthday, March 2009
Let's keep this brief - cake, presents...it was a birthday.
