I was born in New Castle at around 11:30 pm on 7/20/78.
I don’t remember after that. Just
the normal chilhood things. I went
to school, played with my dogs and brother, and got in trouble occasionally. I
went to Mercer High School which is about 5 miles from my house.
I graduated there in 1996 as Valedictorian.
I was quite surprised but it was a nice accomplishment. I did have to give a speech to everyone at graduation which
was quite nerve racking.
After graduation I moved on to Grove City College.
I chose it because it was close, cheap, and a really good school for
education. I majored in Physics
mainly because it interested me. I
knew I was going to do math or science. I roomed with Greg my first year and then some other people
for the other 3 years. I bounced
around in the buildings too. I
lived in 3 different dorms and had 4 different roommates.
It was crazy. I graduated
from GCC in May of 2000 with a B. S. in Physics and minors in Math and Political
Science.
I currently am working for Liberty Mutual insurance in the
claims department. Basically I take
phone calls all day from people who have gotten in auto accidents or have damage
at their homes. It isn’t too bad
and the pay is pretty good. In my
life I’ve also worked at a grocery store and at Westiminster college.
I would say those jobs were more fun but this one is the best paying and
has benefits. I’ve been here just
over a year now. I don’t see
myself here much longer but who knows.
I still live at home with my parents and my brother. My brother, Nathan, is 20 and he goes to an Aeronautical School in Arizona. I’m not at home much but it’s nice to not have to pay rent. I basically spend one paycheck a month on loans and on my car payment. I bought a car last year around July 4th. It’s a 2000 Dodge Neon. It’s cranberry colored. It’s a really nice car. I’ll be paying it off for five years though. My life isn’t too exciting. I go to work every day and then usually hang out with Heather. I still go bowling on Saturday nights with Greg with 3 hours. I love to read, watch movies, and play video games. That’s about it for me. Nothing special.
