| A view of downtown Bogota as we drive in on the way to one of the Panuela's
homes. They take in drug addicts and homeless families and help them
get back on thier feet and back into society. |
Mrs. Panuela and some of the residents of the home we visited.
They were very proud of their progress and each one told us their stories.
A lot of lives being changed- and El Camino plays a part in helping. |
Outside the home and looking around the neighborhood. Up on the
ridge in the distance is a monastary that is a popular tourist spot- you
have to take a gondola to get to it. (someone is upstairs waving-
which is what people are looking at) |

| A small outdoor shopping center with a few stores, a gas station, and
a Geno's Pizza (and of course a playground) Pizza Hut, McDonald's,
Wendy's, Hardee's, Subway and more are around the city also. |
A monument with a fountain in one of the central parks. There
are many parks througout the city. |
A place that probably all Americans are familiar with. And even
X-Men was available to rent- or at least the banner would suggest so. |

 |
 |
| Another familiar site. |
One of the indians selling goods on the street. This one is also
holding her baby. Street vendors are very common on the islands in
the middle of the street. |
A corner grocery store. Notice the horse and cart in front?
That is one of the recyclers (think can collectors with a shopping cart
here). Many of them are actually unionized in Bogota. |
