Bogota', Colombia  April 2001
We visited a Brethren in Christ church while there.  A very enjoyable service with wonderful people.  The order of service was very much like a modern worship style service here in the states (clapping and raising hands during worship)
The church that we visited our Sunday morning there. Another view of the church.
A moving van getting ready to unload at the apartment next door to where we stayed. A view of the city from one of the hills in the city.  This shows about half of the city. Another view of the city from that same hill.
The exposition center that we drove by on the way to the school.  I'm guessing this is where they have conventions and the like. A view of some of the streets around the corner from the director's home.  Many small shops are in this area, including her butcher, shoe stores, bakeries, and much more. A huge moth that was on the ceiling of the garage one morning.  When I first saw it I thought it might be a bat.  Overall though there is not a lot of insects in Bogota- it's to high in elevation.
