About Hope WomensCenter:

We began in July 1984 as the Crisis Pregnancy Centerof Apache Junction, affiliated with the Crisis Pregnancy Centers of greaterPhoenix, until 1990. We have been Federated with International Life Services,Inc. since December 1991. We are a non-denominational, non-profit organization,classified as a 501 (c)(3) organization.  We provide services freeof charge to our clients; the hurting young women who come to us for help.

StatementOf Faith:

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the onlyinfallible, authoritative Word of God.

2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existentin three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ,in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicariousand atoning death through His shed blood, in his bodily resurrection, inHis ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal returnin power and glory.

4. We believe that for the salvation of lost andsinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential andthat this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Saviorand Lord and not as a result of good works.

5. We believe in the present ministry of the HolySpirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly lifeand to perform good works.

6. We believe in the resurrection of both the savedand the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and theythat are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

7. We believe in the spiritual unit of believersin our Lord Jesus Christ.

Principles:

Hope Womens Center (HWC) is a non-profit organizationdedicated to promoting the sanctity of life (from the moment of conceptionto its natural end) and the high moral ethics expressed in the Judeo-Christiantradition. Thereby, HWC subscribes to the following principles:

1. God is the author of life and God alone may terminatelife.

2. Human life begins at the instant of conceptionso the prevention of abortions shall be of paramount importance.

3. Natural family planning and birth control methodsshould be based on the prevention of conception and not on the terminationof life after conception.

4. Premarital chastity will lead to the highest moral,spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of an individual.

5. Sanctity and respect for human life includes protectingall unborn, aged, handicapped, abused, suffering, dying, and needy membersof our society.

6. The family shall be held in high esteem as thecornerstone of society.

Purpose:

HWC shall promote its basic principles in a practicaland effective manner by operating a womens center to provide free information,service and education for women with stress pregnancies and life situations.

HWC is a ministry of Jesus Christ whose mission is todefend life by supporting women in crisis pregnancies. Challenging womenand men to adopt a godly view of sexuality and the sanctity of life, bringhealing and wholeness in lives traumatized by abortion and to bring themto a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Our Funding:

We do not solicit funds nor do we have periodic fundraisingdrives.  In June 1998 we moved to our new location and changed ourname to Hope Womens Center (HWC).  HWC is voluntarily funded by individuals,churches and various organizations.
