Timeline
| Day 1 | Friday, 14th July |
06:30 Gavin's Alarm
goes off. The following conversation ensues:
G: *yawn* L: What are you doing today? G: Oh, just in the office in the city. L: No - I think you're becoming a daddy again. G: Eh?... Turns out Louisa's been having contractions since about 11pm the previous evening... 11:00 Off to the hospital 11:30 Dr Frieden (the Ob) visits, examines and predicts baby will be born by 2:30 today. He'll be back for that. 13:00 Louisa is labouring like a trooper. No gas, just strong focus and good breathing. Gavin gets a nice sandwich. 14:00 Things are speeding up - 'Junior' is on the way. Dr Frieden returns. 14:32 Kian is born, and nestles on Louisa's chest. Gavin flirts with the idea of berating Dr Frieden for under-quoting the delivery time by a whole 2 minutes. Sanity prevails. 14:45 Kian has his first drink. 15:00 SMS notifies the world. L&G sit back for a while and recover. All that SMSing is exhausting! Oh, and Louisa seems a bit worn out too... 17:30 We're moved to a room. Visitors are on the way. 19:30 Keira meets her little brother. |

| Day 2 | Sat, 15th July | All is going very well, so Louisa and Kian transferred to the Frances Perry rooms at the Sofitel in the city. Nice. | |

Gavin gets to stay overnight with Louisa and Kian. Thanks to Nan and Grandad for looking after Keira that night. |
