Web Assignment 3: Sacramental
What is a sacramental?
For my third, and final, web assignment I have decided to create a sacramental. My sacramental is a brick with the words �I AM� in blue and white painted on it. Five years ago I had created a keychain at my grade school and had put �I AM� on that keychain. Originally, these words were meant to express how I saw myself. However, after finishing this course, I have recognized these two words of having many meanings. In Hebrew YHWH can be translated as �I Am� meaning that God is many things and above all, that he is a ruler with supreme power over us. �I AM� can also mean who we are as Catholics and what we should strive to be; a true follower of Jesus. Nevertheless, I chose to put these two words on my sacramental because it will constantly serve as a reminder as to who I should be as a person, a SLUH student, and as a follower of Christ.
