BIOGRAPHY: The Peculiarly sad death of Chas. W. Brewster of this City occurred at on of Stearns' logging camps near Weldon Creek last Friday. Brewster was a lumber scaler and timber expert and the fatal accident occurred while he and a companion were standing near a spot where men were falling a large tree. When the tree fell it landed across a windfal lwhich flew up and struck Brewster. He partially arose and called for water and then layed over and immediately expired. The remains were brought to Ludington and buried Sunday under charge of the Maccabees, of which deceased was a member. He leaves a wife and one child
