| A Note From Nellie Hernandez (Preschool Director): "Children are a gift of the Lord" Psalm 127:3 Our preschool curriculum is designed to teach our children that each one of them is special in God's eyes. They are taught with love and care in a Christ-centered atmosphere. Concepts and skills are introduced which are appropriate to each child's stage of development. These reinforce social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth. It is our desire to provide meaningful and relevant learning through the use of concrete, hands-on experiences which are planned according to a calendar of themes and units. |
| A Note From Mel Billington (Senior Minister): Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these," (Mark 10:14). Not only do our children learn from us, but we learn from them as well. That's why I'm glad your child is a part of our preschool. We are all learning the really important principals in life, like how much God loves us, how to trust Him and how wonderful it is to love one another. We are helping each other to learn these things, and we pray that you are also helping to learn these things in your home. If you need encouragement and support in our God-given opportunity of parenting- Great Beginnings Christian Church is here for you. | Your child must be 2 years of age before he or she can be enrolled. We do accept children who are not potty trained but will encourage the child to use the potty. After school care Kindergarten through 6th grade is availble. You may Call the preschool office at 872-0655 to see if we have openings for your child. |
