| Super Mario advance was the first mario game to come out on the Game Boy Advance. This game wouldn't be my first choice for the launch line up after playing it on the Snes. The game should be a gaming classic, considering it's published and devolped by the lengendary Nintendo. But you would be worng, Super mario advance is the worst mario game i have ever played. Although my thought's on the game are not quite as bad as a disaster, i wouldnt rate it as highly as i would any of the other Mario games. |

| The basic idea of the game is to complete all the levels, while defeating all the bosses. The levels are extremely detailed and the controls are easy to pick up. The most orginal thing about this game that makes it different from the other mario games, is that you pick your own character. You can choose from Peach, Luigi, Toad and Mario. All the characters are different, Peach can hover in the air, Toad has got the strongest power jump, Luigi can jump very high, while swaying his legs side to side and Mario is just his normal, average self. |

Another orginal idea of this game is the power jump, if you hold you character down for a while they will glow yellow and when you let go it will make your charcter jump higher. This makes it easier to get to platforms that were impossible to get onto before. The let down of the game is that it hasn't got a story line and it is easy to complete. Once you have completed the game you only have a poor multiplayer option to increase the lastiblity. You could complete the game in a hour with all the (surposed) secret warps. Throughout the game you will come across lots of warps, which will let you skip levels or worlds. |

| Although the game as its bad points, it has some orginality and a great playablity. If your a mad Mario fan i would recommend that you get the game. If your looking for more depth, I would leave it on the shelve. |
| Bad Points: The game has no real objectives and its far to easy and short. The game needs more depth. |

| Sound: 8.9/10, the game has some typicial nintendo tunes, although the sound hasnt been updated to what the GBA is capable of. |
| Mastery: 9.2/10, the game is very easy to control, just like all the other mario games. |
| Lifespan: 8.0/10, the single player mode has a very short lifespan and the multiplayer mode will become boring very quickly. |

This is a good game, although there is a few aspects that need to be improved to become a gaming classic. |
