You will finally be able to see all the fine details and true colours of all games for Game Boy systems. The games can be played with the GameCube controller, Game Boy Advance and link cable and the Hori pad. The Hori pad is in the same of the orginal Snes controller, but with the button layout of the GameCube's controller. Its no vital that you get one, but it will make 2D gaming a lot easier. Personally I find that the GameCube's controller is better than the Hori pad and the Game Boy Advance. I find it a lot more comfortable to hold and i seem to playing my games with a lot more skill than what i was doing before.
The main feature of the Game Boy Player is that you can play all GB, GBC and GBA through the GameCube onto the TV. Before getting my hands on one of this wonder gadgets, I thought that the enlargement of the games onto the TV would cause distortion, but I was wrong. The Game Boy Player enlarges the games onto the TV perfectly with a sharp picture. You will also find that the speakers on your TV will make all your favourite Game Boy tunes sound crisp and clear.
When you open the Game Boy Players box you will find inside:

The first thing you have to do is plug the Game Boy Player into the Hi-speed port of your GameCube,. Then you place the dinky disc softeware into the GC, which includes 20 different patterend borders, game timer, screen size mode and many other functions. Then you slot a game cartridge into the Game Boy Player and turn the GC's power on. Once you have finished playing, theirs a handy eject button on the side to release the cartridge.The Game Boy Player has been done with a lot of thought involved and made to the highest of quality.
One of the best functions of the Game Boy Player is that you can play two player GBA games with two GameCube controllers. So now you can have two player games without having an extra Game Boy Advance. It also brings anew level of gaming being seen on the TV.
