Chu Chu Rocket is made is developed and published by two of the most respected games designers, Sega and the Sonic Team. This game is a conversion from the online game on the dream cast, which makes you think that the GBA version wouldn't be so good. If you think this you would be wrong, Chu Chu Rocket is a hard puzzler, which should have been released on game boy systems in the first place. The whole point of the game is that you have to guide an amount of mice around a course, while dodging bad cats, pits and obstacles in your way, which will eventually take you to the safety of a rocket. You gui de the mice with arrows and you have to make saw the mice hit certain walls to get into the goal. There are lots of modes, including, Puzzle, Stage and character creator, 4p battle, Team battle and stage challenge. Puzzle is the one player mode where you have to complete all the stages to complete the game. You have to complete normal, hard and special modes on Puzzle to complete the game. Stage and character creator is a brilliant option it gives you the chance to create your own character and stages that you can use in the game. Four player mode is a great way to enjoy the game with your friends and stage challenge asks you to complete certain tasks in a time limit. This game is incredibly varied with lots of different options, which will keep you at it for ages. Chu Chu Rocket as great graphics, sound and game play. Although not as easy to get the hang of as Denki Blocks, once you have got used to the controls, it's a piece of cake. This game is another great title from Sega.
Bad points: It doesnt have a story line, may become boring.
Graphics: 9.5/10, the graphics are bright, bold, sharp and clear and offer some great looking title screens.
Sound: 9.6/10, the tunes of the games compliment the game play brilliantly.
Mastery: 9.5/10, Takes a while to get used to the controls as the screens look confusing, but once your familiar with the buttons its as easy as denki blocks.
Lifespan: 9.9/10, this games strongest point is its lifespan. It hard to complete and it has excellent replay value.
Overall: 9.6/10
A gaming classic that should be part anyone' s gaming collection.
