Intro...
Baseball has never been a highlight for me, infact I find it pretty boring. Nevertheless, it seems to be alright in video game form, and often much better than other games in the sport genre. This is the first Baseball game to be released on the GameBoy Advance.

Gameplay
The gameplay is this game's major flaw. First of all, there is absolutely no link cable support of any type, including multiplayer capabilities. Some othere gameplay flaws are how easy it is to pitch (just aim a little lower than usual and you'll strike the batter out easily), and how hard it is to bat (it seems that fielders predict where your going to hit because they catch it every time!). There are, however, five different game modes (with minimal options).

Graphics
These are the best graphics I have ever seen for a baseball game on any handheld! They look superb with nice smooth animation. Plus the screen layout for both in-game and for menus is excellent.

Sound
The sound is okay, and okay only. Far better sound could have been achieved on the GameBoy Advance. It features tunes that you will most likely turn down, and extremely minimal speech (just the odd "Foul!" here and there).

Controls
Nothing much to say here. The controls are pretty much run-of-the-mill and feature no special options. All up they are good.

Final Comments
This was a potentionally great game, yet there were a few gameplay flaws that let it down. This is still an enjoyable play, so I recommend renting the game and if you like it, buy it!
