JAMES BOND 007

I saw this game for sale on the net and had to check it out, and let me tell you I wasn't disappointed. Apart from the 007 regulars like M, Q, and M16, some special surprise guests also show. By the way, the game isn't based on one perticular Bond movie, it's a game that captures the whole 007 gist of things. Like the Bond martini, "Shaken not stirred"! He, he, ah, um... okay that wasn't funny :\

Gameplay:
If your a fan of Final Fantasy Adventure, Zelda, or any good GameBoy RPGs your gonna LOVE this. The bosses can be a bit too easy; if you play agressively and take the time to find plenty of weaponary. The game is also heaps difficultin parts.
There are puzzles to solve and people to talk to. There's also a good bit of a interaction with the people. Die hard Bond fans will love the jokes, and guests. The enemies have an unusual Artificial Intelligence, so your gonna have to be extra sneaky.
The Gameplay is story driven. The story is a typical James Bond style. I have to tell you though, the game doesn't really have much replay value. Once you go through and find the hidden ending. Some parts of the game can be extremely frustrating. Overall, the game is fun and very enjoyable.

Graphics:
James Bond isn't based on any Bond actors from the movies, but he looks kind of cool in his own GameBoy way! Graphics are well done and the weapons actually look how they're meant to (this is really good because you can see what weapon your enemies have. Detail was applied to everone in the game. An example would be the crows eating the dead guy or the guy peeling the potato or even the guy fishing. Also, you will be please to know there is exellent animation all throughout the game.

Sound:
Sound is decent, not outstandingly great, but okay. As for music, the James Bond theme is there and it's all good. The other tunes are okay (they're in stereo!), some of the music is a bit annoying, but I left the volume up and enjoyed every bit of the game sound.

Controls:
The controls are very fluid and smooth, and extremely accurate. Shooting is realistically timed, but I found it very easy to mis-fire. I found no glitches, even when there are heaps of enemies on the screen. All in all, the game design is great!

Final Comments:
If you hate the Bond movies or 007 himself, then you're definately gonna hate this! This is saturated in Bond! 007 in a cartridge! Oh, I should also mention that a good amount ofcliche Bond one liners and sugestive comments are here, cool!
