Planet Gazzypops - Bergerac |

For 10 years, Jim Bergerac was a sergeant on a small island in the Channel called Jersey. The BBC series from which he came ran for 10 years between 1981 and 1991 and is now a regular feature on UK Gold (apparently). Unless the BBC is showing the utterly appalling Diagnosis Murder, Bergerac can be seen at 14:05 every weekday afternoon on British TV. It is still not to be missed. |

Not anything to do with his great success (which is unquestioned, of course) but a bit of information about Bergerac's Triumph Roadster which is the only Bergerac attraction now on Jersey. |

Did you know that Bergerac is virtually a spin-off from the Star Wars series? Here's why. |

Jim's long-suffering father-in-law Charlie Hungerdord (aka Terrence Alexander). One of the reasons why Bergerac is so good. |
