Well Formula One has seen yet another white wash by Ferrari. Michael Schumacher took the title in France and Rubens Barrichello is certain to take the second spot!! The closest F1 finish ever occured when the two team mates were allowed to race each other for the first time this year!! Schumacher, certain to win, pulled out wide on the banking and caught Rubens by surprise! Lookin at each other to the line, Schumi slowed a little too much and was beaten on the line by 0.010 seconds!!

With the 2003 Formula One season just around the corner the F1 circus has started the vital testing sessions. Testing for the 2003 season began in Spain three weeks ago and all team bar two were present. The two absentees were unfortunatley Arrows and Jordan. Arrows have been rejected from the 2003 grid and Jordan had a lack of sponsorship money to get them throught the testing, so thats why they weren't there!! All the other teams were present and got on with the testing of the new cars and engines ready for the start of the season in March. New recruits to the glitz and glamour of the F1 world were all in attendance and ready for a good taste of the cars. The rookies this year will be Toyota's new boy, Christiano Da Matta, Jaguars, Antonio Pizzionia and Minardi's 6ft something Brit Justin Wilson. His first ever drive in an F1 car!! The other well known faces were there putting some valuable miles under their belts in their new steeds. Brit Jenson Button is now partnering '97 world champ', Jacques Villeneuve at the BAR team, and was there in the sunny Spain getting to grips with his new team. Should be fun next year!! Also making an appearrance in sunny old Spain were the Scarlet Ferreri's and the silver bullets of McLaren. Both teams keeping with old hands from last season.
More news this last fw months has been mostly full of Jacques VIlleneuve's outragous outburst of stupid comments about other teams and driver. I all fairness to the '97 champ he is speaking his mind which the Formula One paddock needs, but some are going a bit to far. In the last month or so he has been criticising the conduct of the Ferrari team in Austria and Indianapolis. He said that the way they conducted themselves during the closing stages and dring the aftermath of the race was a disgrace and that it has damaged Formula One in a big way. The viewing figures fell dramatically after the 'Austria - Gate' affair and even more after the US event. This all backed up his comments and all made sense. Another critisism of fellow drivers was of the 2002 rookie Felipe Massa. He has been hiting out at the young driver by telling the press that he has conrol over a car and that he can't even drive it in a straight line over a straight piece of tarmac! Now that was a critisism!!
