Hi,
Yes, I am starting a blog on this site. Suprise you? Should, because over the years I have not been working on the site. Yet again, over the years I have realised that me as a Gay Ugandan is one of those entities on the earth who is completely forgotten because very little is known about me. So, after years of promising to, I am reworking on the site. And a site like this goes with a blog. to contain all the rantings and ravings which a person can stomach. You will pardon my language, and my style. I have been told that I sing exceptionally well, but that only by my lover when I am in the bathroom. What I intend to impress you with is less my style and language than the ruminations of a Ugandan who is gay. A kuchu living and working in Uganda. Of course one of the things I have to work against are those people who believe that I do not exist. I will pinch myself again. Oh yes, I am alive. Alive and well and well, up to it. And feeling like talking about sex and sexuality and shocking people who are in the country because I am alive and kicking and that there are others out there all over the country who are like me and are hidden deep in closets and the dark of despair. I will rant and rave. I will cry, and laugh, and why not? I am a human being who is happy in my humanity, and happy that I am alive. I am a gay uganda, a kuchu, and a Ugandan. Something I will continuously throw in the face of each and all doubters. So, welcome to this blog, and welcome to all people of good will. Suprisingly, they are very many of those. but unsuprisingly there are also very many who are not of good will, but are clothed in the self righteousness of gay bashing at every corner of the country and the African Continent.
