| When I was considering what I wanted to do for this page to honor my Father I thought I would do a beautiful, solemn page...but as I came across different things to place here I realized I don't feel solemn about Dad...I feel he was fun and loved me and would want me to enjoy doing this ...so here goes...some fun things to remind me of my Dad!!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| My Father, Frank Lewis Legge, Sr. was born November 1921, the son of Fred and Jesse Ferguson Legge. Mom and Dad married and had me and all those brothers you will see me surrounded by, who by the way I love dearly. Dad served a short time in the military and was glad to return home when word came that the war was over. I can say without a doubt, My Dad was a wonderful, family loving, christian man. Dad was a very funny man...much like my brother, Smokey, who is always pulling some joke on someone and laughing. One of my favorite memories is of Dad and I dancing...he taught me to two step. Sometimes he wasn't sure how to deal with us or how to handle things and depended on Mom for a lot of that but Dad was steadfast....never faltering and never failing us. Ok, I said this was going to be a fun page but I just got all choked up thinking how I would give anything to take a seat on a church pew and hear that beautiful bass voice of his booming out over the church. The song on this page is one I can remember him singing as he gave praise in song to the Lord he loves so much...it was beautiful. I could sit here telling you about my Dad and never tire of it. Although I never felt I really showed him how much I love him...and I didn't get to say many things I would have liked to or should have..I'm sure he knew...I'm sure he understood. Dad, I feel you with me daily....whether in memories, making decisions in my life or just feeling you close. You would love these Great Grandchildren of yours. I try to be sure they know who you are and that they are blessed to have the heritage. So, Dad, until someday we are together again...watch over me and keep me in your arms...the arms that always made me feel safe and warm. I love you, Dad |

| MY ALL TIME FAVORITE PICTURE | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I can remember this day when I was about 3 1/2 years old. Dad and I were walking along the top hayfield..just being together...Oh I'm sure Dad had some reason for being there besides just walking along but to me we were just there being together. I love the feeling I get when I think about this day. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
