Scorpios Platinum Club - Trendy gay friendly club in Nicosia. Here are is a short history of the club with its weekly events:

Scorpios Platinum Club (originally known as Scorpios Disco) opened its doors for the first time in 1972.  The club’s DJ at the time was the legendary DJ Marios who is still playing till this day at the newly renovated Scorpios Platinum Club along with a team of younger DJs. Scorpios offers a little something for everyone, whether you are single, married or divorced Scorpios Club guarantees you a good time.

WEDNESDAYS: RnB Night

Every Wednesday is RnB night at Scorpios Club! Listen to the latest Rnb, Rap and Ragga tracks. The Wednesday crowd is made up of foreigners, mainly students. The music is loud and people are always dancing.  In order to enjoy the night to the max, we suggest you reserve a table or couch in order to have your own private space.  The entrance fee is free of charge & doors are open at 11pm to 3am.  

 DRESS CODE: Sexy casual / RnB style            ENTRANCE FEE: FREE    TIME: 11pm - 3am        

 SATURDAYS: EVENTS NIGHT

Every Friday Scorpios Club will introduce a different event.  These events are usually based on Fashion Shows, Alcohol Presentations, Drag Shows, Disco Fever and many more.  Most events give customers the opportunity to win great prizes.  Once again we suggest you reserve a table in order to enjoy your night to the max.  Entrance fee varies according to specific event. Doors open at 11pm to 4am. (The crowd is usually ages 25+ on Fridays.)

 SATURDAYS: CLASSY SATURDAY

Saturday is Nicosia's Premium night out.  Enjoy your Saturday Night out @ Scorpios Club.  The club plays the latest international and greek hits.  Loud music and a nice crowd once again dressed sexy & smart.  We suggest you reserve a couch in the VIP lounge area in order to experience our 1st class service. Once again ages are usually 25+ & doors are open at 11pm to 4am. Entrance is free.

Meeting places

Meeting places are just that - meeting places! If you meet a guy you like, go to each others house to get to know each other better, otherwise you will be in trouble due to public indecency laws which prohibit nudity and sexual activities in public, leading to your arrest. Don't forget to always be safe - more information on the Health page. These are not the best places to meet people anyway as they are not gay exclusive and can be dangerous if you are not alert. Clubs, bars and cafes are much better but since a lot of gay men have asked me to also add the meeting places, I have done so. Just for reference late afternoons and evenings tend to be the 'peak' hours, so stick to that instead of arriving at some insane hour after midnight because you will be disappointed.

OXI - Parking place near to the Kiosk of the same name in Old Nicosia. Near the toilets. Meetings happen by car, not on foot here. If you see someone you like go up to him and chat. Always have in mind that the police also visits in civil cars wearing civilian clothes, so always carry your ID card on you or another form of identification (eg. passport) as this is the law. This is not the best place to meet people anyway as it is usually deserted.

D'Avila Moat Parking Place - Opposite Club Zoo, near the toilets. Meetings here happen on foot and by car. If you are on foot, stand near the Men's toilets. If you are in a car and see someone you like, flash them to come over. Since you might be waiting for a while, bring a friend of yours along to chat to or at least a good music CD!

Municipal Gardens - Opposite the old Nicosia General Hospital. Meetings here happen on foot, but it is not the safest place to be especially at night as there have been cases of muggings and beatings although quite rarely. Police also patrol on foot, looking for criminals and illegal immigrants but the same rules as above apply - carry your ID on you and stay away from trouble.
