Gay Beaches

White Rocks - Follow the way to Governors Beach and go as far to the right of the beach as you can via an unpaved road by car (take the Westernmost turning for Governors Beach and at the end of the road turn right onto the dirt track). At some point you will reach a point where you must continue by foot to the White Rocks area. Easily recognisable, there are many small coves where the rocks jut out into the sea. The sea here isn't great to swim in but it is pretty to look at. Always be careful not to slip or go too near any rocky ledges.

Pissouri - Rocky beach to the left of Pissouri Jetty. To get there, take the turning for Avdimou on the Limassol - Pafos highway. Follow the road left and follow the signs for Pissouri and then Pissouri Jetty. Do not go to Avdimou Beach. The road is paved, so if you are on a dirt track, you are going in the wrong direction. After the turning for Pissouri Jetty, you take a left turn just after the curve in the uphill road and after a sign for Cypress Night Club, and follow it round until you meet a very small round about. Turn left here and park. Get onto the main beach and follow the footpath left until you reach a blockade of rocks. Climb over these rocks being extra careful not to hurt yourselves and you will find yourselves in the rocky beach area.

Meeting Places

Meeting places are just that - meeting places! If you meet a guy you like, go to each others house to get to know each other better, otherwise you will be in trouble due to public indecency laws which prohibit nudity and sexual activities in public, leading to your arrest. Don't forget to always be safe - more information on the Health page. These are not the best places to meet people anyway as they are not gay exclusive and can be dangerous if you are not alert. Clubs, bars and cafes are much better but since a lot of gay men have asked me to also add the meeting places, I have done so. Just for reference late afternoons and evenings tend to be the 'peak' hours, so stick to that instead of arriving at some insane hour after midnight because you will be disappointed.

Dasoudi - Pine tree forest promenade and the most popular meeting place in Limassol. Park in the parking behind the Pizza Hut on the Sea-Side road and follow the footpath towards your right (Westwards).

Molos - Park by the beach opposite Agia Napa Church on the Westward end of the Sea-Side road. Park in the last parking before the old port of Limassol.

Germasogia River Parking - Beneath the bridge next to the police station on the Sea-Side road. Near to Cheescake Cafe. Not very popular as it is next to the police station.
