Agia Napa

The party capital of Cyprus, Agia Napa boasts many clubs, none of which are gay. You will be happy to know however that all the clubs are gay friendly.

Meeting Places

Meeting places are just that - meeting places! If you meet a guy you like, go to each others house to get to know each other better, otherwise you will be in trouble due to public indecency laws which prohibit nudity and sexual activities in public, leading to your arrest. Don't forget to always be safe! More information on the Health page. These are not the best places to meet people anyway. Clubs, bars and cafes are much better but since a lot of gay men have asked me to also add the meeting places, I have done so. Just for reference late afternoons and evenings tend to be the 'peak' hours, so stick to that instead of arriving at some insane hour after midnight because you will be disappointed.

Kermia Gay Beach - Close to Kermia Hotel which you can only access with a bit of rock climbing. To get there one must drive along the lower road towards Cavo Greco (continuation of Grecian Hotel and Mermaid Hotel road from the Town Centre). You must take the last turning right just before the road curves off and joins on to the main road at the end. Follow the road until the parking area to your right and then go by foot along a trail over the rocks down to the rocky beach. Be very careful as there are sharp rocks in the area and stay away from the ledges.

Monastiraki - Inside the grounds of the Church next to the town square, opposite Volcano Bar, especially in the gardens to the right of the toilets. This area is also busy after midnight due to the fact that Agia Napa is a very nocturnal town. This place is also used by straight locals for meetings, but remember the advice given above.
