| Ginger Snaps |
| 3/4 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup light molasses 1 beaten egg 2 cups flour 2 tsp soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp cloves 1 tsp ginger Preheat the oven to 375 Cream shortening and sugar. Add Molasses. and egg.beat well. Sift dry ingredients.Add to the creamed mixture.Mix well.Roll in small balls, dip into sugar.Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.Bake for 15 min. Makes 4 doz cookies |
