Defense of the Federation and it's ideals is now on the forefront. With that in mind, Starfleet Command created the GASTA fleet. Our primary mission to defend the federation from it's enemies. Secondary is to open trade and diplomatic relations with new species and expand the Federation.
The GASTA Fleet operates in all four quadrants of the Galaxy. (Alpha, Delta, Gamma, Beta) The fleet is centralized from Starbase Alpha and Starbase Nouveau Terra with smaller Starbases scattered throughout each of the quadrants.
The Federation Council has appointed myself, Admiral Reed, as the Commander in Chief of the GASTA Fleet.
