| The Chance
The world finally has come to an end for him and it was a life of service to others. He gave his life in service to his kin his people and honor. His fame brought him a glorious farewell in honor of his service to all. His farewell people drank, sang, dance and rejoiced to give thanks to him. His life was full of duty and service to all but through all these act of selflessness he held a heavy burden. This burden was one of true love that never was given a chance. Two hearts could not find the path to which happiness would have been to the ends of the world. His heart was pure and true to being the best he could be, on that fateful day when he saw her he wished she would be his. She saw him and wished and preyed that he would be just for her. When their hearts met they knew they would find happiness. At this moment 2 hearts where joined unlike any other and they beat is perfect harmony. Without speaking she knew what he would say, she knew his service would take him else where and for this one moment she had the chance to make this man of honor and selflessness hers. As he died on that field of victory he won himself countless honors and endless thanks from his kin, but what he did not have was true love as she could not chance following him. |
