Smart Search

The advent of the year 2003 saw TGI launching the first ever digital telephone directory of whole Nepal "Smart Search". It is incorporated with many useful features such as ISD codes of all the major countries with the codes of important cities of that country, STD codes of all the major and minor locations in Nepal, Emergency numbers in different districts and an additional feature for making it a personalized telephone book with password protection for privacy.

To provide a more convenient classification of the contacts that can be added to the personal section, it is also provided with different groups with the possibility of adding or editing the groups so that the user might be able to access the needed information easily. The password protection also enables "Smart Search" to be used by a whole group of users, such as a family or an organization, from just one installed copy of the product.

The search can be done by first name or last name to get the number or by the number to get the name and the location. It is named "Smart Search" because there is no need of even typing in the full spelling of the name. Just the first few letters is enough to get the list of the names starting with that spelling.

The web links section provides the user with the most popular sites on the web and also a way of personalizing the favourite web links. Using the personalized sections in the Web links page gives the user absolute privacy and also is versatile to be used different people as is the case with telephone book.
