I am a Scientist / Engineer with Department of Space, Government of INDIA. My key role in the organisation is to demonstrate the applications of Remote Sensing, particularly the space based-imaging, in urban and regional planning. I am posted in Geo-Informatics and Database Division, involved in Database organistion of national level natural resources databases. I develop software tools to make the task of Database organisation efficient. The key challenge lies in handeling the huge quantum of datasets, something that have never been done before in this country. |
