THE TWILIGHT ZONE

A classic anthology series, The Twilight Zone dealt with stories of the bizarre, macabre, and supernatural. Created by Rod Serling, the series had three incarnations. The first, from 1959 through 1964, was hosted by Serling and is considered the best of the three. The second, from 1985 through 1989, aired first on CBS, then in syndication; these episodes were, for the most part, also excellent. The third, from 2002 through 2003, seemed only to be cashing in on The Twilight Zone name, emphasizing guest stars instead of story.
