CHANNELS and NETWORKS

First of all, before we get started, you may want to take a look at TV Guide Entertainment online. You'll find a complete TV listing (without paying for a subscription!) that you can customize for yourself! Type in your ZIP code, and tell it which cannels you don't like. Great site.

Now, anyone who knows me, knows that I spent about 95 percent of my TV time watching music videos. So it only makes sense that I should first direct you to visit VH-1, where music comes first.

And I really hate my cable company (I won't name them; I'll just call them TCI) because they refuse to offer CMT (Country Music Television) where I live. I sure do miss it.

My favorite network has to be ABC, hands down.

And I suppose along that same line, my favorite TV station has to be KTRK-TV 13 in Houston.

SITCOMS

There is no better sitcom on TV today than Friends. Period. A laugh riot.

Visit the characters and get a sample of their wisdom at Central Perk. Take a special look at Phoebe, my favorite character, and Chandler, whom some have told me I act like. That is so NOT TRUE! Could they BE any more wrong?

And of course, TV will never be the same without my journalistic idol, Murphy Brown. I know she's a fictional character, but I really think that Murphy taught me a lot and helped make me who I am today. (Yes, it's her fault.)

Of course, I still miss Absolutely Fabulous, the BBC's hilarious series. I still think it's probably the best sitcom ever made anywhere.

Check out The Global Absolutely Fabulous Page to discuss all things fabulous (sweetie)...

Also, you can shop with Eddie and Patsy at the official AbFab site at Comedy Central.

NEWS

If you're looking for the best news on the net, look no further. It's at ABC News. More people get their news from ABC News than from any other source.

Similarly, you can bet that the best news programs on TV are at that same place. If you can't watch the shows (which I highly, highly recommend), then take a peek at 20/20 Online and Primetime Live, both of which represent everything that is good in journalism.
