Lowndes County Bassmasters Casting Kids EventThe Lowndes County Bassmasters conducted a Casting Kids event at Fisherman's Paradise on 2 June 2001. This year we had 39 kids participate in the event. It was a lot of fun for everyone involved. The object of the contest is to hit a 42-inch-wide bull's-eye target with a hookless lure by casting from 30 feet, pitching from 20 feet and flipping from 10 feet. The target circles are worth 20, 30, 40 and 50 points.
