I know that the shaking of hands has been around for a long time, It is a form of greeting, approval, a means of showing agreement or approval among other things. But I feel that it is time for a change.
For many years , myself included in this at one time or another, I would notice how men would leave out of the rest room with out washing their hands. Until the lord caught my attention and showed me, that I was carrying germs, from this lack of cleanliness.
Before you go to shake hands with that next person that you meet, you might just want to stop and think for a minute, did he or she wash their hands, when they left the rest room , after coughing, or even after handeling something that might be unhealthy etc...This is where a lot of germs, and viruses get spread.
I have spoken to people about this , and yet there seems to be a lack of concern for the health risks, surrounding this issue. So because of this I consider shaking hands with someone who did not wash their hands after using the restroom etc.. to be a health hazard . I decided that I would like to see this old form of greeting , and acknowledgement discontinued. And another form to replace it.
Thats when I begain looking for a slogan that would get the message across to people.
