Kin of the Stars
Kin of the Stars in the Seikai no Monshou OST consists of 3 parts. In the
first part, the awe toward the Universe is expressed. In the second, a faint
woodwind leads the melody expressing Abh's loneliness in the empty space. And, in
the last part presented here, Abh's enterprising spirit is sung, and we can feel
the presence of loneliness in the midst of grandeur, which goes well with the first
two parts. These three parts are equally attractive and unique in melody, and can
be heard throughout the Monshou and Senki series.
Quite many titles in the OST, like Kin of the Stars, Abh's
Invasion, Boy Ghintec, and Daïsairé, and All
fleet, spread out! consist of several small parts -- don't know whether it's
the composer(Mr. Katsuhisa)'s taste or not. This might give more chance to fit
various background melody for different cuts in anime, but it certainly makes it
hard to match which part belong to which piece.
