NEL 2001 TRANSACTIONS

 

 

1.        The Bears trade Gary Sheffield and the GB 2002 #4 to the Wrecking Crew
for Roberto Alomar and Jose Paniagua. (3-12-01)

 

2.       The Baltimore Ball Busters would like to announce a trade with the San Andreas
Faults. The Ball Busters will be receiving Hammonds and Ankiel in exchange
for B. Williams, W. Williams, and Rocker. (3-12-01)

 

3.       Texas sends Jeff Weaver and its 1st round pick in 2002 to Chicago for Mike
Hampton.  (3-12-01)

 

4.       GT deals Juan Encarnacion to the Cache River Mudcats in exchange for Tom Goodwin, Esteban Yan, and a 2002 #2 draft pick.  (3-13-01)

 

5.       The Ball Busters would like to report their second trade of the year. They receive Rey Sanchez, Herbert Perry, and Albie Lopez from the Roseville Golden Bears in exchange for Omar Vizquel. (3-13-01)

 

6.       GT Wrecking Crew traded Bobby J Jones, Mike Bordick, and Derek Bell to San Andreas in exchange for Trevor Hoffman, Neifi Perez, and Jacque Jones.   (3-13-01)

 

7.       GT sends Bob Higginson over to the Huntsville Gritz for Elmer Dessens.

 

8.       Chicago sends Tony Womack to Dublin for Royce Clayton. (3-16-01)

 

9.       Chicago sends Rondell White and their #4 2002 to Dublin for Shannon Stewart. (3-21-01)

 

10.     Bay Creek sends 3b Scott Brosius to Dublin for RP Jeff Tam (Todd Pearl) and SP Tor. Chris Carpenter.

 

11.      Baltimore sends Armando Benitez, Ray Lankford, and their #2 2002 draft pick to Chicago for Brad Fullmer and Jose Cruz Jr.

 

12.     The Golden Bears trade Bartolo Colon to the Poi for Glendon Rusch and Tony Armas. (4-13-01)

 

13.     Pearl City trades Vladimir Guerrero, Ed Taubensee, and Scott Schoeneweis to Chicago for Andruw Jones, Richie Sexson, Jason Varitek and Octavio Dotel (4-13-01)

 

14.     Ipswich moves young outfield prospect Ruben Mateo to the Sterling Seminoles. Sterling sends 3rd baseman Chris Truby to Ipswich.
