1. Age: 36

2. City in which you currently live: Evergreen Park, IL

3. Hometown: Born and raised on the south side of Chicago

4. Occupation: Sales Engineer.  I work as a manufactures representative selling industrial instrumentation into the process industry (refining, chemical, steel, food, power, etc.) to either control/monitor flow, temperature, pressure, or level for process control.

5. Single/Married: Married….going on 11 years.

6. Kids (and ages): Two kids…….7 and 4

7. Years playing APBA: On and off since ’78.

8. How many APBA games do you roll per year:  Considering I’m in two leagues now NEL and TCWBA, I’ll log 162 for sure not counting games I play with REPLAY (another tabletop baseball game) and APBA Football.

9. Favorite Baseball team and why (current): Chicago White Sox.  I’ve never got into that White Sox/Cubs (South Side/North Side) debate but being raised on the South side, I’m naturally a White Sox fan.  Cubs suck and I only go to Wrigley to have fun.

10. Favorite Baseball team and why (all-time): Milwaukee Brewers.  I loved the Brew Crew as a kid.  I still wish they had their old style hats, they were sweet!  I used to listen to their games on the radio but the feed from Cheese land was weak.   I can still rattle off their lineup.

11. Favorite Baseball player and why (current):  Barry Bonds.  At 35, it’s amazing to see the kind of numbers this guy puts up.

12. Favorite Baseball player and why (all-time): This is a tie.  Paul Molitor and Dave Winfield.  Both are class acts and were studs when they played.

13. Favorite Baseball stadium (current):  Wrigley Field.  Even though I hate the Cubs, there’s no place better than Wrigley.  The ivy, the babes, the neighborhood, the fun before and after the games is a blast!  I have a friend who has seats right behind the visitors on deck circle, first row.  What a view!

14. List of Major League Baseball stadiums you’ve been to: Comiskey, Wrigley, Fenway, Jacobs Field, Tiger Stadium.

15. Favorite College Team: Basketball:  Florida……….Football: Tennessee

16. Non-APBA hobbies:  I manage my daughter’s softball team and son’s baseball T-ball team.  I also officiate high school and grammar school football.  This year I will have a full varsity schedule working the Umpire position.  There’s no better place than being on the football field!

17. If I could play MLB, what position would I play: Catcher.  This is a position I played through my playing career.  I also like center field.

18. Most Memorable APBA Moment (sentences/paragraphs OK here):  I can’t pin point any particular game.  APBA gives me a break from the real world for sure.

19. If you had a chance to have dinner with any baseball player that ever lived, who would that be?  Pete Rose.  My heart tells me he didn’t bet on baseball but there has to be a reason why he’s banned from baseball for so long.  There is a list as long as the day in which players in baseball have done bad things and are welcomed back or not tagged with the “banned” label.  If he did bet, I would like to know the details on how he managed when his own money was on the line.

20. General Comments (Do you like the DH?  Do you like interleague play?  Have you ever rolled any No Hitters or     Perfect games?  Ever end a game in a “Walk Off Home Run?)  I do not like the DH.  I love NL baseball.  I like interleague play.  I think it’s great for baseball.  I have never rolled a “No-No” or perfect game.  As far as walk off homers are concerned, I had two.  I love walk off homers!!
