Journal #7 – If you had a time machine what people or places would you choose to visit?  Why?

            If I had a time machine, I would most likely visit Kurt Cobain.  Kurt Cobain was the voice of a generation, and wrote the greatest pieces of music in the past decade.  He was often regarded as a genius, and still holds influence in music today.  He died young at age 27 from a speculated suicide.  His suicide is often regarded as the death of rock from the billboard charts and record stores.  His band Nirvana still ranks among my favorite artists after years of listening; a credit I cannot give to many bands.  I would most likely use my time machine to get a glimpse of this man and the work that he created.  Hopefully, this would give me a greater perspective on music and the process that goes into creating it.  That would be an inspiring moment.
