Here's a look at my 1989 Mustang LX. It took quite a few years to finish but with the help of my brothers, I was able to complete it. When I originally got the car it was a 4 cylinder car, which wasn't for much longer. The engine would be the first order of business.  I had most of the parts to do the engine but really wanted as much new stuff as I could afford. Well I wound up going way over budget due to machining nightmares and complications bolting a C-4 trans onto an 86 block. But it was worth it after things got done. With the help from brother Tom, the car was on the road.
I drove the car a few years after finishing the engine and drive train. During this time brother Chris was honing his skills painting cars. The time came where I parked it in his garage for 3 months and we ripped the car apart. Once again I went further than intented, replacing the fenders, hood, bumpers, deck lid, all 6 front lights, all the weather strips, mouldings on the doors/fenders, and of course I couldn't have fresh paint without the new wheels.
Engine: 1986 302 block, forged pistons,1970 58cc 302 heads, roller tip rockers, Weiand Stealth intake, Holley 600 carb, BBK headers, DynoMax mufflers, Mallory ignition system. Drive Train: 1977 C4 trans, B & M 2400 converter, B & M 'Hammer' shifter, 8.8 rear end, 3.73 gears, Lakewood upper control arms on the rear, Weld wheels
Just had it wheeled out before this shot
Got it back together just in time to make it to a Mt. Clemens cruise
