Eyes Wide Open
A yawn escaped her maw. Her eyes closed painfully. She wondered what it was like to sleep, to have dreams, to wake up refreshed. She felt a hole in her life. She could never do what she saw others do. They could jump, run, play and do anything. But she, she couldn't. She had not the energy to. Oh if they knew what they had.
She had tried many times to sleep. A dreamer she was. Kaepa thought she would try again to sleep whether what they told her or not.
I'm just gonna relax, close my eyes. she told herself, and she did. Unfortunately, it didn't work. "Urrrrghhhh." she growled feeling like ripping her fur out. There she went again, she started snapping the air in frustration and stomping the ground with what energy she did have.
Finally she flopped down panting. She closed her eyes, if she couldn't sleep than she would just relax as best as she could. Trying to mimic dreaming, she started to go into her dreamland, in there she could do anything her heart desires. At this state she was her calmest, very peaceful. To bad it didn't last long as she would've liked.
