Nightmarish. Goulish. Evil, even. That was what some said about him. But did they really understand? He didn't think he was evil. It made him feel sad when they called him that. He killed them, then, so he wouldn't feel sad anymore. Normally, it worked. Sometimes, though, he could see that he made others feel sad by doing what he did. He wished that wouldn't happen, but there was nothing he could do. He didn't even know what he was doing to make them so sad. If only they would tell him, he would know, and then he could stop doing it.
But instead, they just made funny noises and ran away. He would always catch them, of course. He sometimes wondered if it wasn't all a game they were playing, if they really were afraid. But then he would forget...
Asaariyah always forgot.
