1. people go to the gas station.
2.people fill up gas cans.
3. people use the gas on their vehicles.
4.the rest spills, or the amount used mixes with rain.
5. the rain flows into lakes and rivers.
How would flooding affect it?

How does the ground stop pollutants from entering the groundwater?
it filters them out with soil.

What can YOU do to stop groundwater contamination in your town?
