Hi there! You're looking at the homepage of Deepika Maria David . I finished my Computer Science and Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology,India.
The pictures here have been done over a period of time. The sketch of the lady for example is over 3 years old,but was retouched just recently with Photoshop.
Some others like the "precious moments" one and the winter scene were done directly on the computer,and are quite recent.
I have always loved all forms of art,and am passionate about music and painting. A few years before i joined my course in Engineering ,I found myself drawn to Digital art. The computer , I think is one of the best mediums for art and one can just - keep learning. I'm experimenting with 3D forms now ...I'll put up some of my work in that area as soon as I'm done.(i'm learning Flash,3D StudioMax and Maya).I hope to pursue a career in Digital art.Well...que sera!sera!

Hi ..its me AGAIN...contrary to what I had hoped to do 2 years back, Im now doing my Masters in Computer Science, majoring in Cryptography at the University of New Brunswick, Canada. I still paint when I find the time, but I dont think it's gonna be a career!! So much for aspirations :))
