APHT Rules
	Hello and welcome to APHT - Action Packed Hockey Tournament. I will be doing tournaments for NHL 07 untill NHL 08 comes out, so this is basically a goodbye NHL 07 tournament. If you are interested in joining APHT plz contact me on msn or through e-mail at [email protected]. These tournaments will be held day-day whenever I have time, and will notify everyone in advance when it will be held. The way it will be scheduled is in pools (Pool A. and Pool B.), everyone qualifies to the playoffs, but want to do good in the round robing so they can get a good position in the playoffs. We are not holding a server and will be plaing this tournament through exhibition mode ip to ip. So after you finish playing your game, you notify me who won and what the score was. There will be 8 teams  (4 in each Pool) or if I am able to get 16 GMs that would be even better! Requirements : - Cabel/DSL connection                        - MSN                        - Obiously the NHL 07 game Gameplay - There will be no diving in the offensive or neutral zone.                 - No hitting or hooking players without the puck                 - No spamming the faceoff button                 - No stuffing, only on a clear break from the blueline                 - Mix up your play, you can only score 2 straight of the same goal, if you    score 3 goals the same in a row, you have to give a goal backafter that  Try and mix up  your play.                - Shooting from the blueline is allowed only if there are 4 of your players in                  the offensive zone.                - You must dump at all time when there is a penalty against you. and     there can never be any offensive pressure on the PK, so that means no short handed goals at all!                - You must once in a while dump the puck like in the real NHL. (Atleast                   20% of the game dumping!)               - Whenever your goalie gets the puck and there is offensive pressure, the                   goalie must freeze the puck. Your are however allowed to go behind                 your net and pass the puck when the puck reaches behind the red line.               - Mercy rule is 6 goals.                - You are allowed to score up to 9 goals the max. If there is a tie (9-9) then                  it is ok to score a 10th goal.                - For the last 3 minutes of the 3rd period, if you are on the PK and                  trailing your opponent, you are allowed to go and attack and try to                  score and tie the game.
