The GTP(GRAPHIC TARGET PROFILING) is a deep seeking, all-purpose, general hunting detector and is engineered for today's "urban archaeologist" who enjoys hunting coins at the park or artefacts near abandoned home sites. The Infinium LS is a powerful and very versatile general purpose detector built with one idea in mind - to work well in mineral and salt conditions that other detectors find difficult to handle. While many people are excited by the Infinium's possible prospecting applications, it should not be overlooked that mineralization is a problem for many other types of detecting. Many Civil War battles took place on extremely mineralized ground. Black sand/saltwater beaches are among the most difficult detecting environments. Even when coin hunting around old ghost towns detectorists can find they are not getting the depth of detection they should due to ground mineralization.
