After touring England in June Jane and Gary went on a most enjoyable eight day Trafalgar coach tour of Switzerland. There were 34 in our group and you will get to see some of the individuals here over the next few weeks.

One of the highlights was the trip to Zermatt just east of Geneva to view the Matterhorn.

This photo was taken on Wednesday 5th July on the top of the Klein Matterhorn which is the mountain right along side its big brother. No we didn't climb it, we went up in a cable car, well three actually, covering a distance of over four kilometers or so to reach an altitude of 12,700'. The Matterhorn is 2000' higher.

We look happy, but we were actually freezing and suffering from a lack of oxygen. Josephine the St Bernard was happy though, got to the contents of the barrel before us. Jane is holding a Swiss flag horizontally and Gary is holding Josephine upright.
