Pluto is both the smallest and furthest planet away from the sun. As it is so far away little is actually known about it's characteristics. Rumors are that Pluto is not actually the last planet in our solar system and that there are 2 more bodies further out than it, but these have yet to be comfirmed as actual planets or not.
