14th December 1999, Manchester Evening News Arena
i was so excited, the 14th of december 1999 the day i go watching Gary Barlow play live at Manchester. Me and my mum arrived at the arena for abut 6:30pm,i went and bought the merchindise streight away then me and my mum was strolling round the arena by that time it was about 7:00pm and me and my mum made our way to our seats i was even more excited when we sat down, i was on the second row from the stage!!!! i had the best view ever . i had been watching Gary three times before but never in my life had i been this close before .
At 7:30pm the support artist walked on stage and did a few songs and she was on about half an hour. Then at 8:30 Gary Barlow walked on stage singing Arms around me (a song from his his album), OH MY GOD! i was so close i saw everything he's really georgous, i love him to bits. On the last song everyone was swaying their arms in the air to a christmas song and i looked at Gary and smiled, and believe it or not he looked me in streight in the eye and gave me a big smile back, i was gobsmaked! i couldnt believe it. Gary Barlow who i have loved since i was 4 years old had just made eye contact with me and smiled oh my god! that i will never forget for as long as i live. Gary then finished and i really wanted more i think everyone else did too. The show was absloutly brillient and most of my family are going next time hehe. My mum also thought Gary was brillient and even she could not believe he smiled at me so just imagien how i felt! it was the best night of my life and iam praying there will be a next time very very soon. GARY BARLOW IS THE BEST! |
