| In Loving Memory of Isabo |
| Isabo came into our lives on June 12, 1999. From the beginning Gary knew she was special, but Isabo was more than just special, she was unique. What a beauty! A high white Calico. She walked with such an air of independence and aristocracy. Never waivering from her self-appointed position within the cattery. Her favorite place in the house was the coffee table in the living room. From this location in the house, she oversaw her realm. She loved to play fetch. It was part of the morning ritual in our home for Gary and Isabo to play before he left for work each day. . Isabo was our first Grand Champion from our first litter of kittens. She carried that title proudly. She loved being the "special child" on trips - not having to share us with the others. We pulled Isabo from showing in the 2000/2001 show season, never to show her again. In the time that she was out there, she earned a Second Best National Color Win. Isabo was just past the age of 2 when we found her on July 2, 2001. She took with her the 7 kittens she had been carrying and was only three weeks from delivery. The heartache is still there, but hopefully, time will make the hurt a little softer. It was determined that Isabo's passing was due to pulminary hypertension. This was neither a genetic or hereditary condition. In the short time Isabo was with us, she touched many lives. We hope you enjoy the pictures of Isabo. There is one picture that truly reflects Isabo's nature, it is the one with Rhianna. Rhianna is the granddaughter of Dennis and Trudie Allen. These two had a very special relationship. Rhianna passed away in April and Isabo followed her in July. We like to think that these two have found each other and they are simply waiting, along with Isabo's kittens, for the rest of us to join them. |
