WonderCon '99

     I had a blast at this year's WonderCon in Oakland.  I was only able to attend for 1 day, but; it was worth it.  The program guide had a cover by Bruce Timm (of Batman The Animated Series fame.)  I got to meet Richard Hatch (Apollo of Battlestar Galactica), Jack Stauffer (Bojay of Battlestar Galactica)  {see Pic} , and Phil Brown (Uncle Owen of Star Wars).  There was a Q&A session with Bruce Timm and Paul Dini, creators of Batman, the Animated Series, The Batman and Robin Adventures, The New Adventures of Batman and Robin, the Superman cartoon, The Batman/Superman Adventures, and Batman Beyond.  During the Q&A session, they took a break to show a new Superman episode featuring Aquaman.  I got a reproduction t-shirt from the  X-Men circa '65, a business  card I thought had a cool look, and a  poster of an X-wing, TIE fighter dogfight with the Death Star in the background.  DC comics and Darkhorse Comics were there, as were (local artist) Dan Brereton and Steve Leiber (One of my new fave artists)
