Robert White, a senior at Arkansas Tech University in Russellvile, and Terry Tyler, of local media and church fame, were apparently experimenting with a video camera in a moist and steamy bathroom shower when the power to the camera was inadvertently tripped. Officials believe White dropped the camera into the shower, electrocuting himself in the process. Tyler, who was perched on the toilet seat, did not receive physical harm from the initial surge of electricity, but was lacerated by the whipping cord as it lashed across his apparently and allegedly naked buttocks. Tyler was coherent after the incident.
"Um, I really don't want to say anything to the paper," he stated in an interview at the scene, to the paper. "Can I please put some clothes on now? My burns are cooling and I feel a little nipply." Tyler did not comment on why or for what purpose he and White were engaged in the shower. He muttered only that his music video for TV Production Class "wasn't worth this amount of mental anguish and physical betrayal." John Gale, a professor at the University, is currently being questioned at this time, to determine if he is in fact responsible for Tyler and White being alone together at the time of the incident.
White was a beloved member of the crew of That One Show, nursing and occasionally suckling to health the variety and comedy show, during its one-year run on Arkansas Tech Television. Although threatened with rat poison by Ben Leavell and blackmailed by unexplained x-rated videotapes by Ryan Taylor, White had made a name for himself by not ever showing up on time, or ever, for that matter. At the time of his death, he was happily never where he was supposed to be. Even at the time of his funeral, the body could not be found. Ryan Taylor suspects foul play. "That horse's ear! I'm gonna pigwickle his arse whenever I find out he's not really dead. Man, the lengths he will go to, just to get out of doing the 'Show!"
Ben Leavell has a different opinion. "Ahh, I thinks he's just a dammfool," said Ben. "When he walks down the street, I think he says to himself, "Damm, I'm a fool, and I like it," Ben suggests.
Just in case Ryan is right and White is not really dead, any information leading to the mysterious disappearance of the body would be greatly appreciated. The police don't care, really, but the guys at the Show would like to know so that can find him and beat the living carp out of him.
