IBM Makers of AIX, RS/6000's (which are designed to run AIX), PowerPCs (A joint venture with Apple ; the IBM ones run AIX).
IBM maintains a web page for AIX support. They also have a Fix Distribution FTP server, an emergency fix FTP server. Lastly, you can report defects to [email protected] and you can get on their listserv for bug reports by e-mailing to [email protected] and putting "help" in the subject line of your message.
IBM has a Comparision of AIX vs Other System V Unices (primarily Solaris is used for comparision)
Redbooks are documentation, written by users (not IBM employees). Still, they are usually pretty good sources of information. IBM does not "publish" them if they don't meet their standards.
