i had delayed seeing this film for a very long tome until a couple of days ago my friend let me borrow it. i ended up loving it. from its wondefully original beggining to its brutal ending Scream is deffinitly a classic. although the movie is not overly gory it gets very brutal at times. also on the plus side is the characters. everyone is likable and plays there part well( aside from Mcgowan who lets her tits to the acting..he...he) the movie has a great sence of humor but still manages too scare the hell out of you in the process. with a fast pace and Rose Mcgowan's boobs you really cant go wrong with this one. if you are any type of horror fan you should check this one out you wont be sorry
Gore: as i said its not overly gory but very brutal at times. we get tons of stabbings, a gutting and some gunshots
Nudity: one major flaw is that someone forgot to tell our friend Wes to put the icing on the cake. i wouldnt have minded seeing Rosa Mcgowan's melons. isnt that what slasher films are about
Pace: very fast paced from its brilliant ending to its shockingly original ending
Scary: not too scary but very suspenceful at times
Story: brilliant story from start to finish. very well written
Overall: in the 70's we had Friday and Halloween, in the 80's we had Noes and now we got Scream. ladies and gents witness the coming of a classic. Bravo!
